A new version of Steel Beasts has been released with a raft of fixes for this, the premier modern tank sim. The release notes are HERE and as you will see, it has a comprehensive list of fixes. Which include an updated lighting engine and bump and spec for soldiers, this aids them to better blend into the undergrowth.
