This is the FBX imported version of the Pzr II drivers slot. I saw that Outerra had released a new FBX import tool a few months ago and to be honest I thought at the time it would be daunting for me to relearn the new FBX tool. Today I gave the FBX import tool a try, after I found the import UI screen  CTRL - F7 I pointed it at the FBX and to my surprise it found the two texture files in the same folder and converted those to the the correct dds type on import of the model... Very nice guys :)

After much anticipation the new incarnation of Steel Beast Pro PE (SB) arrived Friday (20.9.13). The download went smoothly and installation also progressed without incident. I had already updated my code meter in expectation of it needing an upgrade with version 3, as it turned out the new code meter software is included with the v3.0 release. I launched the game and picked one of the new tutorials, I was gob smacked when I had my first in game view, the screens on the SB site did not do V3 justice (it has to be seen on your own monitor) v3 looks amazing over previous versions and is a big step forward in the visual quality of the sim. Shadows, bump maps and specular all bring the models to life, that coupled with the new engine sounds, I am in tank heaven. I was very pleased to hear new gun sounds, incoming artillery is a joy to listen too. It makes the sim for me that much more immersive.
